If the Eagles win, who and when would they play next?
If the Eagles advance, they will play the winner of the Saturday’s NFC divisional-round game between the Lions and Commanders in the NFC championship on Sunday, Jan. 26, at 3 p.m. If the Lions win, the game will be in Detroit, but if the Commanders pull off the upset, the game will be back in Philly at the Linc. The winner of that game will advance to Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans.

How did the Eagles fare last week?
Jalen Hurtslooked a bit rusty in his first game back after missing the final two games of the season with a concussion, but the Eagles defense forced four turnovers, picking off Jordan Love three times and recovering a fumble on the opening kickoff and ultimately pulling out a 22-10 win.
What’s the deal with ‘Inner Excellence?’
Wide receiver A.J. Brown was spotted on the sidelines reading a book on Sunday against the Packers.
That book? Inner Excellence, by Jim Murphy. The Inquirer talked to Brown and Murphy about the book and its impact.
“I physically believe I can do anything and everything, but I got to make sure my mental is good,” Brown said postgame. “It’s how I refresh every drive, regardless of if I score a touchdown or if I drop a pass. I always go back to that book every drive and refocus.”
Linebacker Nakobe Dean suffered a torn patellar tendon in the second quarter of the win over the Packers. He will miss the rest of the playoffs, and will potentially miss parts of the 2025 season as well.
“We sure will miss him,” Nick Sirianni said Monday. “He’s made big plays all year long. I think what comes to mind for most is the interception against Jacksonville to seal the game, but he had a couple plays in yesterday’s game that are just outstanding, that set the tone for how physical we’re going to play.”
How did the Rams get here?
The Rams dominated the Vikings in the wild-card round to advance to the divisional round against the Eagles. Despite the Rams being the home team, the game was played in Glendale, Ariz., due to the wildfires in Los Angeles.
Matthew Stafford led the Rams to an NFC West title at 10-7, and pulled off the upset victory over the 14-3 Vikings. The Rams defense collected nine sacks and forced two turnovers, returning one fumble for a touchdown, and kept Minnesota quarterback Sam Darnold, who had been playing the best football of his career in 2024, contained.

Are there any Philly connections on the Rams/Vikings?
Rams linebacker Omar Speights is a Philadelphia native. The rookie linebacker played college football at Oregon State and LSU and in high school at Imhotep Charter.
Dylan McMahon, who was an Eagles sixth-round draft pick last April, was signed off the Eagles practice squad in September. He made one start this year for the Rams, in Week 18 against the Seahawks.
